Medeco Locking Systems

Aircraft Security & Alert has been manufacturing Medeco locking systems for aircraft since 1981. Our locking systems are specifically made for each aircraft model and comes complete with everything needed to fully secure your aircraft from theft, vandalism or terrorism.
Our locking systems are Parts Manufacture Approved (PMA) under FAA approval.
We are the approved supplier to most aircraft manufactures where some locks are installed on the assembly line, while others are offered as an option during completion.
We also offer our locking systems in the aftermarket for your aircraft complete with everything needed including FAA approval.

Why Medeco Locking Systems for your Aircraft?
- The standard lock on aircraft can be opened with almost any key. Medeco locks are "double cross cut-bi directional". This means that only the right key will operate the lock
-

The standard lock uses uni-directional wafers. Medeco uses tumblers with angles cut in two directions which make picking virtually impossible.
- The standard lock is made of soft "pot" metal while Medeco utilizes 4 "anti-drill" pins embedded in solid brass
- The standard locks uses keys that can obtained anywhere and be duplicated anywhere by anyone.
- Our Medeco keys are assigned codes needed for duplication and Medeco is the only manufacture of the key blanks making key duplication only possible with us, with your authorization.
- Not only are aircraft, avionics and other equipment being stolen, but they are being vandalized or are a target of corporate or disgruntle employee terrorism. It only takes a few minutes for someone to reach in an access panel and sabotage your aircraft.
